There were thousands, maybe hundreds of of thousands of people at Buckingham Palace for the changing of the guard. This time of the year they only have the ceremony every other day. We were fortunate enough to arrive at Buckingham Palace on our bus tour just in time! I wish we would have been able to get our picture taken with one of the guards. They are pretty serious about this! The guards were carrying automatic weapons or what I call machine guns!
